This is a pilot project and an exciting new way of providing information to residents and all those interested in the municipality, its topics, projects and services.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The municipality has grown significantly in recent years, with residents of all ages having diverse interests and using different methods to access information. The podcast offers more in-depth coverage of specific projects, services and topics that are currently a major topic of discussion. Episodes of Vitan can be accessed HERE on the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's website, as well as on podcast platforms such as <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/show\/36eZxZ6YBfw2qOCXRZ7TLo\">Spotify<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/vitinn.simplecast.com\/\">Simplecast<\/a> and Podcast Addict. Work is underway to make Vitann available on more platforms.<\/p>\n<h4> <a href=\"\/en\/province\/hafnarfjordur\/hladvarp\/\" class=\"internal\">Episode #1 \u2013 Bj\u00f6rn P\u00e9tursson, the town's heritage officer&nbsp;<\/a> <\/h4>\n<p>In the first episode of Vitan, Sigurj\u00f3n \u00d3lafsson, Director of Service and Development, speaks with Bj\u00f6rn P\u00e9tursson, the town's curator and director of the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Folk Museum.
