Now the leaves are starting to fall from the trees and the autumn sweep is about to begin in the town. During the autumn sweep, all the town's streets are checked over, swept, and an attempt is made to clear as much of the leaf litter that has fallen in recent days and weeks. <\/p>\n<p>The autumn sweep in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur is divided into fourteen districts. The street sweeping begins on 7 October and is scheduled to finish on 25 October. The suburbs of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur will be swept first, finishing in the town centre.
