This health-promoting project aims to introduce e-bikes as a convenient mode of transport, in the hope that more, and indeed as many people as possible, will start to use this means of travel.<\/p>\n<p>In recent years, the municipality has significantly increased its snow clearance services and will focus this winter on keeping the main walking routes clear.- and cycle routes open as part of the council's health-promoting journey, thereby paving the way for those who already cycle and wish to make it their year-round mode of transport. This should enable cyclists to get around town with relative ease, as well as cycle to work and\/or services in other municipalities.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>An introduction to the project for staff at Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur municipality is currently underway, and everyone has an equal chance of being allocated a bike.
