Filming has begun on a new bittersweet comedy series starring Laddi. As previously mentioned, the town of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur will be the setting for Ladda's six-part series, and a filming crew will be travelling around the town this November. Filming will take place over the next 25 days, and began today at the Su\u00f0urb\u00e6jarlaug. <\/p>\n

Gunnar Geirdal, Baldvin Zophoniasson, Krist\u00f3fer Dignus, Hekla El\u00edsabet A\u00f0alsteinsd\u00f3ttir, Ragnar Ey\u00fe\u00f3rsson and Laddi. Fr\u00e9ttabla\u00f0i\u00f0\/Anton Brink<\/sup><\/p>\n

In these episodes, Laddi plays a character who is faced with death and realises at that point that he has wasted too much of his life on things that are less important than others. He decides to make the most of his final days and resolves, among other things, to hold his own funeral and be present to say goodbye to his loved ones. The idea can be traced to the musings of J\u00f3n Gunnar Geirdal, one of the series' six screenwriters, about death and the meaning of life. The other screenwriters are Hekla El\u00edsabet A\u00f0alsteinsd\u00f3ttir, S\u00f3lmundur H\u00f3lm, Baldvin Zophon\u00edasson, Ragnar Ey\u00fe\u00f3rsson and Krist\u00f3fer Dignus, who also directs the series.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
