{"id":14028,"date":"2019-11-11T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-11-11T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/haukasvaedi-asvellir-1\/"},"modified":"2022-10-25T09:02:21","modified_gmt":"2022-10-25T09:02:21","slug":"hawks-area-asvellir-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/en\/haukasvaedi-asvellir-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Hawks' Area \u2013 \u00c1svellir 1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At the town council meeting on 18 September 2019, it was resolved to advertise amendments to the detailed plan for the Haukasi area at \u00c1svellir 1 in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, in accordance with section 1 of article 43 of the Planning Act No. 123\/2010.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>The change consists of:<\/em><\/strong> A new plot is defined for residential development to the west of the sports centre. The scheme provides for 100\u2013110 dwellings, or approximately 10,000 m\u00b2 of gross floor area on the site. The buildings will be 2 to 5 storeys high. A car park of 90 spaces will be provided underground, with a further 60 spaces allocated above ground.<\/p>\n<p>A multi-purpose sports hall, which was originally planned for the south of the artificial turf pitch, will now be located at the northern end of the site. Its height will be 25m at the centre and 12m at the sides. The building plot has an area of 13,050m\u00b2 and the hall will have a net area of 9,900m\u00b2. Adjacent to the sports hall, a 900m\u00b2 service building will be constructed within the same building plot. The ridge height of the service building will be 5m. Approximately 230 new parking spaces are proposed to the west and north of the sports hall. In all other respects, the existing provisions of the detailed plan will apply.<\/p>\n<p>The proposals will be on display at the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Service Centre, Strandgata 6, and at the Department of Environment and Planning, Nor\u00f0urhellu 2, from 11 November to 23 December 2019.
