Eir\u00edkur G. Stephensen, headmaster of the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Music School, was the smallest in the class when he was younger, a very fussy eater, rather shy well into his youth, and small in stature. He had a very artistic upbringing, learned the recorder at the age of six and, contrary to popular belief, can't play every instrument. In this interview with Vitan, Eir\u00edkur discusses the importance of music in the grand scheme of things, life as a stray dog, and the creativity that takes place at the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Music School every day. Eir\u00edkur took up the post of Headteacher of the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Music School in the autumn of 2018 and, in a short time, has not only managed to make a strong impression on the school community in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and do great things with the talented colleagues at the music school, but has also seen the light and has moved to Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and has settled well into the heart of the town.<\/p>\n
