Groups of nursery school children have made their way to the Christmas village this week with beautiful and environmentally friendly Christmas decorations that they have made themselves. The decorations are most welcome and have added a lovely touch to the Christmas Village from the very beginning.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/img_9363-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_9363\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 2048px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 2048\/1366;\"><\/p>\n<p><sup>The nursery school V\u00ed\u00f0ivellir added decorations to the Cuxhaven tree on Thorsplan.<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>It was exceptionally Christmassy and beautiful in Thorsplan yesterday when the decorations were in place and snow covered everything. The decorations are made from recyclable materials and are of various kinds, with ingenuity prevailing.
