This leave is limited to players, managers and coaches for participation in the Olympic Games, World Championships, European Championships, Nordic Championships and national competitions.<\/p>\n<p>With this decision and initiative, the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur wishes to continue its health-promoting journey, both as an employer and a community. Now, by supporting the active elite athletes within the municipality and thereby enabling them to work alongside their sporting achievements. In March 2015, the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur entered into an agreement with the Office of the National Commissioner for Health to participate in the 'Health Promoting Community' project. The municipality has since, in collaboration with residents, employees and other stakeholders, developed the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's health strategy.
