Offer<br \/>\nOffers were received from five parties, and the lowest bid is 420,623,100 kr under.<br \/>\na project cost estimate amounting to 1,241,610,000 kr. Only one<br \/>\nThe offer was over budget. The town council agreed at a meeting to begin negotiations.<br \/>\nwith Coach Hire, who had the lowest quote.\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>More efficient service,<br \/>\nlonger service life and greater safety<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the spring of 2019, the Municipality of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur decided to move away from<br \/>\nin cooperation with other municipalities within SSH, with the exception of K\u00f3pavogur, on<br \/>\nspecialised transport services and begin preparations for a tender with the aim of<br \/>\nachieve more efficient and better service with increased user autonomy, longer<br \/>\nservice times and greater safety for passengers. Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur had oversight of<br \/>\nthis specialised driving service for many years before it was decided to go into<br \/>\ncooperation on the project in 2014 so that<br \/>\nThe council already has considerable experience.
