Only artists with permanent residency in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur are eligible for the award, based on their registered address for the past 12 months.<\/h2>\n<p>Applications or substantiated recommendations are invited, which the Cultural and Tourism Committee will take into consideration when selecting the Town Artist.
