In this episode, Geir discusses life<br \/>\nseparately from the town and with the town over the past decades. <\/p>\n<p>Geir is one of those staff members who have more or less all<br \/>\nHe has worked within the municipality for his entire career. There he has dealt with many and<br \/>\ndifferent jobs, most of which, however, have in common that they are concerned with children and<br \/>\nyoung people and their empowerment in one way or another. Prevention plays a part in this,<br \/>\nPhysical activity and health play a very important role, and Geir has been involved in initiating and implementing them.<br \/>\ninteresting prevention and health projects that are designed to enrich<br \/>\nthe community spirit and the well-being of the mental and physical health of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur residents as a whole. Geir<br \/>\nalso serves as the lead for a working group on the healthy community initiative but<br \/>\nIn recent years, Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur has been establishing itself as the Wellness Town.<br \/>\nHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and that in a strong partnership with the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur community, voluntary organisations,<br \/>\nsporting clubs, individuals and staff. Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur has long been<br \/>\nA great sporting town that has for years produced champions in almost every field.<br \/>\nof sport and in 2015 the Municipality of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur entered into an agreement with the Office<br \/>\nthe Chief Medical Officer on formal participation in the Healthy Community project and has<br \/>\nthe municipality has developed in collaboration with residents, staff and other stakeholders<br \/>\nthe health strategy of the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and presented an action plan that speaks directly<br \/>\ntogether with the policy.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"\/en\/province\/hafnarfjordur\/hladvarp\/\">Listen to the programme<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Interviews with interesting individuals who work for the municipality.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In Vitanum, interesting individuals who work for the benefit of the town are interviewed.
