Father<br \/>\nEl\u00edsu Margr\u00e9tar and Hafsteinn Vilhelmsson attended a meeting of the nursery school headteachers of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur.<br \/>\nlast week and gave the book as a gift to nurseries.  <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/vinirelisumargretar4.jpg\" alt=\"Margaret&#039;s four friends\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 960px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 960\/960;\"><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The main character in the book \u2013  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/vinirelisumargretar\/\">Friends of El\u00edsa Margr\u00e9t<\/a>  is<br \/>\ndaughter of Hafsteinn and Gy\u00f0a Kristj\u00e1nsd\u00f3ttir. El\u00edsa Margr\u00e9t, who was severely disabled and was born<br \/>\nwith a brain disorder called Lissencephaly, died in early 2016. The book takes<br \/>\nin a professional and elegant manner on important issues concerning different<br \/>\nFamily types, different people, and generally about friendship and diversity.<br \/>\nof social life. 1000 copies were sold before Christmas 2016 and the proceeds have gone to<br \/>\nsupported by the Ring Hospital for Children. Hafsteinn reported this at a meeting with<br \/>\nto nursery heads that the couple are still receiving videos and stories from grateful<br \/>\nparents (and nurseries) where the book is a big favourite with children and<br \/>\nhas she helped parents to explain diversity to children in the best possible way<br \/>\na natural and good way.<\/p>\n<p>Elisa Margr\u00e9tt's parents wish, with this beautiful gift, to<br \/>\nThe nurseries spread the message and thereby keep their daughter's memory alive.<br \/>\nPreschool directors in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur were, as expected, pleased with the gift, as you can never have too much.<br \/>\na great deal of professional material that addresses important issues such as this.
