It has been a good and joyful tradition to celebrate Shrove Tuesday in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, as there is little more fun than dressing up in all sorts of costumes and having a good time. For us adults, it is a great pleasure to see these little and slightly bigger treasures singing and playing, bringing great joy to themselves and others, both within the schools during the school day and even around the town after school. <\/p>\n
Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's Customer Service, Hafnarborg and the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Library are delighted to welcome cheerful, singing children and young people after school, and B\u00e6jarb\u00ed\u00f3 has also decided to hold an open house for cheerful, singing groups and individuals.\u00a0 It has been heard that the staff at B\u00e6jarb\u00ed\u00f3 are planning to set up a small stage in the area so that singing, cheerful residents of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur can perform in the Heart of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur on Ash Wednesday itself.<\/em><\/p>\n Children in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur are experiencing Ash Wednesday entertainment in their local area this year, just as in previous years, and it is a system that has proved very successful.
