The National Police Commissioner has<br \/>\na state of public emergency was declared in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer due to<br \/>\ncoronavirus (COVID-19) and the decision is taken with this change in mind.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>All parties involved will<br \/>\nwill be notified as soon as it is possible to resume operations. All other<br \/>\nServices of the Department of Family and Child Affairs remain uninterrupted, i.e. all home care services, support services,<br \/>\nServices in residential estates and in homes. The department works according to clear procedures and<br \/>\nis in close cooperation with the local authority's emergency management and civil defence.<\/p>\n<p>A visitation ban has been imposed at the Hrafnista home in<br \/>\nin Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and at the care home on S\u00f3lvang. A decision has been made about<br \/>\nto end the day centre at S\u00f3lvang. The day centre at Hrafnista is open, as well as<br \/>\nthe day training at Drafnarh\u00fasi.
