At its meeting on 17 December 2019, the Planning and Building Committee agreed that the proposed amendments to the master and detailed plans, covering the area within the Vallahverfi district, would be sent to the Planning Office for comment. The authority made no objection to the planning amendments being advertised concurrently, in accordance with the permission under Article 41(2) of the Planning Act No. 123\/2010. The above was presented to the Town Council for approval on 4 March 2020.<\/p>\n
The aim of the proposed local plan amendments is to provide a main drain from N\u00f3ntorg to Hraunvallask\u00f3li. A major plan amendment is also being presented, in which the proposed main pipeline runs through a protected lava field, defined as HVa8 and HVa9 in the explanatory report for the 2013-2025 Master Plan of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur.<\/p>\n
The proposals, together with the supporting documents, will be on display at the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Service Centre, Strandgata 6, and at the Department of Environment and Planning, Nor\u00f0urhellu 2, from 10 March to 21 April 2020.<\/p>\n
