From the museum fund, Hafnarborg received a grant for two projects: <em>The Port City and the Health Town<\/em> (1,500,000 kr.) and <em>Photographs on the external website \u2013 agreement with Myndstef<\/em> (800,000 kr.). Work has already begun on both projects.<\/p>\n<p>In collaboration with the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Folk Museum and others, Hafnarborg was also allocated <strong>Flagpole support<\/strong> for a single project: <em>Collaboration on Museum Education \u2013 Strategy and Implementation<\/em> (12,000,000 kr. over a four-year period).<\/p>\n<p>Hafnarborg then received a grant from the Arts Council for two exhibition projects: <em>Urban Acoustics in the Form of an English Pleasure Garden \u2013 an exhibition by composer Dav\u00ed\u00f0 Brynjar Franzson, curated by \u00der\u00e1inn Hj\u00e1lmarsson<\/em> (300,000 kr.) and <em>Exhibition catalogue for the exhibition 'Long Live the Man: The Works of Thorvaldur \u00deorsteinsson', in collaboration with the Akureyri Art Museum.<\/em> (500,000 kr.).<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the curators of the Autumn 2020 exhibition, Becky Forsythe and Penelope Smart, received a grant of 800,000 kr for the production of the exhibition. <em>Wildflower's<\/em>, where an innovative lens will be directed towards our desire to explore nature.<\/p>\n<p><strong>These grants are an important part of enabling Hafnarborg to flourish and serve the community with interesting projects, whilst also being a stimulating platform for artistic creation and creative dialogue.<\/strong><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tilkynntar hafa veri\u00f0 styrk\u00fathlutanir myndlistar- og safnasj\u00f3\u00f0s fyrir \u00e1ri\u00f0 2020.
