The area is currently undeveloped, but it will see the construction of a dense development with affordable housing that adapts to the local landscape.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"right lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/1934-191129-hamranes-hafnarfjordur-5.jpg\" alt=\"1934-191129-Hamranes-Hafnarfjordur-5\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 372px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 372\/279;\">The following blocks of flats plots are on <a href=\"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/en\/media\/hammernes\/hamranes-nytt-dsk.-reitir-6-10-og-11.-i-gildi.pdf\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Plot 6, 10 and 11<\/a>&nbsp;in Phase 1 in Hamranes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ringhamar 1, 24 flats, 1 house<\/li>\n<li>Hringhamar 3, 25 flats, 2 houses<\/li>\n<li>Ringhamar 7, 28 flats, 1 house<\/li>\n<li>Noon Hammer 2, 24 flats 1 house<\/li>\n<li>N\u00f3nhamar 4, 27 flats, 2 houses<\/li>\n<li>Noon Hammer 8, 20 flats 1 house<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All facilities will be exemplary in the neighbourhood, which is situated on one of the most beautiful and family-friendly building plots in the capital region, south of Velli and the Skar\u00f0shl\u00ed\u00f0ar neighbourhood. The plots are in a school catchment area. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.skardshlidarskoli.is\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Skar\u00f0shl\u00ed\u00f0 School<\/a> which is about 400 m north of the development area, to which it is connected by footpaths and underpasses beneath <a class=\"internal\" href=\"\/en\/ibuar\/implementations\/asvallabraut\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00c1svallabraut<\/a> A nursery and primary school are already operational, and a sports hall and a branch of the music school will be handed over this autumn. If two or more applications for the same plot are received, a draw will be held. Applications must be received by 12:00 on Monday, 4 May 2020. It is anticipated that applications will be considered at the meeting of the Municipal Council on 7 May 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Plots are available for allocation to legal entities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A legal entity applying for a plot of land must submit the previous year's annual accounts, certified by a qualified auditor, as well as an unconditional written confirmation from a bank or lending institution regarding their solvency and potential lending for the proposed house construction.
