She previously worked as Operations Manager for the Red Cross of Iceland's clothing project and as Marketing and Communications Manager at the University of Iceland's Centre for Continuing Education. Thelma has been active in various forms of community work in recent years, particularly with FH, where she currently sits on the main board. She was also the chair of the parents' council at Flensborgarsk\u00f3linn and simultaneously served on the school committee. Thelma is married to Steinbj\u00f6rn Logason, a graphic designer and teacher at \u00c1sland School, and they have two sons, M\u00e1ni Mar, who plays football for the Haukar first team, and \u00d3ttar \u00dani, a player for the FH 4th division football team.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thelma takes over the day-to-day operations and a wide range of projects aimed at strengthening the business community in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, such as creating a forum for consultation for existing businesses in the town and attracting new companies. The marketing agency also serves as a bridge between the business community and the city's local government.
