Pre-school activities as of 4 May <\/strong><\/p>\n

Normal pre-school operations, as they were before the ban on gatherings, will begin again in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur on 4 May. All children will attend their pre-school according to their normal schedule.<\/p>\n

As regards parents, the access of adults to the pre-schools will be limited, and we therefore ask parents to respect the two-metre distance rule when fetching their children. The pre-schools normally hold a summer and graduation festival in May\/June. School principals in each pre-school will be sending a notification of the arrangements thereto in the near future.<\/p>\n

A staff planning day will be held in all the pre-schools in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur on 29 May 2020, with the exception of the Hl\u00ed\u00f0arendi pre-school, which will hold its planning day on 20 May and will be open on 29 May. Normal school services, such as team-based approaches, diagnoses and the services of psychologists, speech therapists and special education consultants, etc., will also be resumed as appropriate.<\/p>\n

With the changes now coming into effect, it is important that everyone take an active part in maintaining the good results that have been achieved in halting the coronavirus pandemic. We thank you for your understanding and positive outlook as regards the limits that needed to be set in March and hope that the return to normal pre-school operations will continue in the future.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
