One developer had applied for all six plots, but four parties were allocated plots on this occasion. This involves the allocation of three plots to Byggingarf\u00e9lag Gylfa og Gunnars and individual plots to Fjar\u00f0arm\u00f3ta ehf., Valh\u00fasa ehf. and Drauma ehf. With this, the allocation of all plots in the first and second phases is now complete.\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hringhamar 1 \u2013 Gylfi and Gunnar Construction Company<\/li>\n<li>Hringhamar 3 \u2013 Fjar\u00f0arm\u00f3t ehf.<\/li>\n<li>Hringhamar 7 \u2013 Draumar Ltd.<\/li>\n<li>N\u00f3nhamar 2 \u2013 Gylfi and Gunnar Construction Company<\/li>\n<li>N\u00f3nhamar 4 \u2013 Gylfi and Gunnar Construction Company<\/li>\n<li>N\u00f3nhamar 8 \u2013 Valh\u00fas Ltd.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><br \/>\u201eThis allocation marks a new approach to planning in the area, aiming to involve strong partners with the municipality throughout the entire process, from planning to implementation. The aim is to meet the needs of the market even better, whilst also minimising the time spent on re-planning and planning changes once development is underway. It is clear that this approach is falling on fertile ground, and demand for plots is high despite the unusual market conditions. It is therefore clear that developers and builders see the potential in the area, and the development and purchase of plots in Skar\u00f0shl\u00ed\u00f0 is testament to the residents\u201c desire to build their future homes in the hinterland of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur,\"<\/em> says R\u00f3sa Gu\u00f0bjartsd\u00f3ttir, mayor of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. Construction in the Skar\u00f0shl\u00ed\u00f0ar neighbourhood, which lies by Hamranes, is rising rapidly these days. There is already two years' experience of <a class=\"internal\" href=\"\/en\/province\/news\/opnunarhatid-i-skardshlidarskola\/\">operation of a primary school in the neighbourhood<\/a> A nursery school was opened a year ago. A sports hall and a branch of the music school are expected to be handed over this summer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hamranes will comprise around 1,500 homes \u2013 a densely built area with affordable housing.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The development in Hamranes will be divided into three phases, and the area will comprise around 1,500 homes in total. Allotments have already been made and planning permissions granted for all plots in the first two phases of the development. <a class=\"internal\" href=\"\/en\/province\/meeting-minutes\/displaymeeting.aspx\/?id=2003021F\">At its meeting on 29 April, the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Town Council approved<\/a> the pending proposal for the allocation of three plots in the second phase to Lifandi Samf\u00e9lag for 70 flats, Ark\u00feings \u2013 \u00deingvangur for 70 flats, and Skipan for 100 flats. This leaves only the third phase of the area's development, and the conceptual and master planning for the final phase is already well advanced.
