This summer, guided town walks are offered every Thursday at 8 p.m. Most walks last for about an hour, participation is free and everyone is welcome. The walks are a collaboration between Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Library, the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Folk Museum, Hafnarborg and Healthy Town of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur.<\/p>\n
\u00c1g\u00fasta Krist\u00f3fersd\u00f3ttir, director of Hafnarborg, will lead a walk where the artists' perspectives on the old town will be explored. The walk starts at Hafnarborg.<\/p>\n
Gr\u00f3a M\u00e1sd\u00f3ttir of Green Journeys leads a walk from Hvaleyrarvatn to St\u00f3rh\u00f6f\u00f0i. The walk starts from the car park at the western end of Hvaleyrarvatn, near V\u00f6llum.<\/p>\n
Valger\u00f0ur Hr\u00f3\u00f0marsd\u00f3ttir leads a walk to the top of Helgafell
for beginners as well as more advanced. The walk starts from the car park on Kald\u00e1rselsveg.<\/p>\n
\u00d3mar Sm\u00e1ri \u00c1rmannsson leads a walk around the Kald\u00e1rsel area, presenting the history and examining archaeological remains. The walk starts from the car park on Kald\u00e1rselvegur.<\/p>\n

J\u00f3natan Gar\u00f0arsson leads a guided walk up Arnarfell in Kr\u00fdsuv\u00edk. The walk starts from the car park at Kr\u00fdsuv\u00edk Church.<\/p>\n
Bj\u00f6rn P\u00e9tursson, the town's heritage officer, walks between sites in the centre of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur connected to the history of sport. The walk starts from the Packhouse.<\/p>\n
Gunnar Svavarsson leads an educational walk around \u00c1stj\u00f6rn with many stops and interesting chat. The walk starts from the Stekkjar\u00e1si nursery school.<\/p>\n
