The change is the first step towards the new Str\u00e6t\u00f3 and Borgarl\u00edna network. Routes 22, 33, 34, 43 and 44 will cease to operate.  New route 19 and an extended route 21 will replace them.<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"\/en\/province\/news\/step-in-to-make-the-traffic-run\/\" class=\"internal\">A step towards high-quality transport \u2013 see previous coverage of the change<\/a> <\/p>\n<h4>Route 19 <\/h4>\n<p>Route 19 will run from Kaplakriki, via Hjallabraut, Setberg, \u00c1sabraut, to \u00c1svallalaug and back. The route runs every 15 minutes during peak hours and every 30 minutes off-peak. Connections to routes 1, 21 and 55 will be at Fj\u00f6r\u00f0ur.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Route 21<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Route 21 is being extended and will now run between Mj\u00f3ddur and Miklaholt, instead of between Mj\u00f3ddur and Fj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. The route will continue to run every 30 minutes throughout the day.
