Attendance there has grown significantly in recent years with increased recreational facilities such as a refurbished playground, outdoor barbecue area, a bouncy castle, and a climbing frame., <a class=\"internal\" href=\"\/en\/province\/news\/the-sport-of-tennis-is-gaining-ground\/\">Renovations to the tennis court<\/a> and a disc golf course.<\/p>\n<p>The latest addition to V\u00ed\u00f0ista\u00f0at\u00fan is the installation of a beach volleyball net on the sand court and a renewal of the sand, resulting in a first-class beach volleyball court, as this sport is growing in popularity here in the country.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"right lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/viti-6.jpg\" alt=\"Lighthouses to guide traffic\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 372px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 372\/279;\">Small lighthouses have been set up this summer in V\u00ed\u00f0ista\u00f0at\u00fan, where they are used for traffic and access control. Visitors to Strandgatan have also noticed these lighthouses, which add a pleasant touch to the surroundings.
