These measures will result in changes to various municipal services, including at swimming pools.<\/p>\n<p>The main actions of the government include, among others:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The limit on the number of people gathering is 100. Children born in 2005 or later are exempt.<\/li>\n<li>Wherever people gather and in all activities, the rule of keeping a distance of at least 2 metres between individuals must be observed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Swimming pools and fitness<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>\u00c1svallalaug and the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Swimming Pool will be open with restrictions. Both pools are open over the Bank Holiday weekend and opening hours are otherwise unchanged. The Su\u00f0urb\u00e6jarlaug remains closed due to construction work.<\/p>\n<p>Signs about capacity limits and the two-metre rule will be prominently displayed in the pool area, by the hot tubs and saunas. Hand sanitiser will be readily available and touchpoints will be cleaned regularly. Some lockers in the changing rooms will be taken out of service.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cd <strong> <a class=\"internal\" href=\"\/en\/ibuar\/sports-and-outdoor-activities\/swimming-pools\/indoor-swimming-pool\/\">\u00c1svallalaug<\/a> <\/strong> cannot be more than <strong>100 guests<\/strong> at any one time. The steam bath will be open, but the maximum number of guests is three at a time.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cd <strong> <a class=\"internal\" href=\"\/en\/ibuar\/sports-and-outdoor-activities\/swimming-pools\/sundhollin\/\">Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Swimming Pool<\/a> <\/strong> cannot be more than <strong>32 guests<\/strong>. Sauna cabins will be closed as it is difficult to ensure social distancing due to their small size.<\/p>\n<p>Children born in 2005 or later are excluded from these figures. Visitors can monitor the number of people in the pools in real time on the swimming pool websites.<\/p>\n<p>The Reebok Fitness centre at \u00c1svallalaug will be closed until Tuesday.
