Following the authorities' decision on tightened public health measures, which come into effect from midday on 31 July 2020, the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur has reviewed its services in accordance with its contingency plans. The council's services will remain largely unchanged, but working practices will be adapted to the new gathering restrictions.<\/p>\n
Staff are encouraged to take good care of their personal hygiene, and managers have reviewed hygiene measures at workplaces. In addition, special guidance has been prepared for staff travelling to work from overseas to reduce the risk of infection.<\/p>\n
To protect vulnerable groups, the Department for Family and Children's Affairs has limited the number of visitors to residents as much as possible. Guidance has been issued to staff at workplaces for disabled people and in services for older people. Units will not be closed nor services restricted at this stage, such as in social activities for the elderly and canteens, but the two-metre rule and crowd restrictions will be strictly observed. <\/p>\n
