Therefore, residents in those municipalities who return plastic in bags with their household waste can once again make use of this option. This includes residents of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>New processing lines at the reception and sorting centre will in total include eight metal separators, screens and other equipment to separate the organic part of household waste from inorganic materials, such as plastic and other items that may be present. There will also be two new wind sorter machines which will separate light materials, such as plastic, paper and textiles, from timber, glass and other denser materials.
