A great deal of preparatory work has taken place over the past few days, weeks and months with the involvement of professionals from a wide range of fields, and it is the hope of all those involved, who have taken part in the shaping, development and implementation of the system, that it marks a new beginning in educational matters within the municipality.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/eloomi1-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Eloomi1\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 2048px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 2048\/1366;\"><\/p>\n<p><sup>It was none other than Gy\u00f0a S\u00f3l who officially opened the system in a live broadcast on Workplace, the council's internal social media platform, last weekend as a \u201enew employee\u201c at Skar\u00f0shl\u00ed\u00f0arsk\u00f3li. Here is Gy\u00f0a S\u00f3l with Gu\u00f0r\u00fan \u00deorsteinsd\u00f3ttir, HR Manager, and R\u00f3sa Gu\u00f0bjartsd\u00f3ttir, Mayor.&nbsp;<\/sup><\/p>\n<p><strong>Why electronic<br \/>\nEducation system?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A great transformation is taking place in all areas that are called<br \/>\nhas increased digital media and services and processing through electronic channels<br \/>\nservice lines. This development also includes education, and the vision is that<br \/>\nEducation and lifelong learning will increasingly be in electronic form. By utilising educational systems<br \/>\nas with Eloomi, simplifying and increasing the staff's capabilities in all<br \/>\non training and further education at the council's facilities. <em>\u201eThe educational system is a platform for education and knowledge, and now it is possible to<br \/>\nto provide important training to all council staff in a simple way<br \/>\ncease. Part of the education is optional and intended to increase understanding of<br \/>\nHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur as a whole as a workplace, and then part of the compulsory induction is for<br \/>\ncertain groups of staff. In this way, different training is assigned to each individual.<br \/>\nstaff member and that in line with their position and area of expertise.
