The European Union (EU) invites the participation of children and young people aged 11
\n\u2013 17 years in a survey about their rights.<\/p>\n
The reason for the consultation is that the EU Commission is currently preparing
\ntwo major projects for children. On the one hand, a policy on how best to see
\nfor the EU and its member states to defend the rights of children. The policy is aimed at
\nto ensure that all children get to enjoy all their rights as they are
\nas described in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. The policy will be published at the beginning of the year.
\n2021. However, this is a project that ensures that all children within the EU have
\naccess to all the services they need to ensure equality
\ntheir potential for development and opportunities to achieve their goals and develop
\ntheir ability. <\/p>\n
The reason for consulting children is that children are experts in
\nthat children are valuable and that their opinions and experiences hold value. It is hoped that through this initiative and request, as many children as possible within Europe can be reached, as well as those who do not live in
\nEU Member State. It is estimated that participation in the survey will take
\napprox. 20 \u2013 30 mins. <\/p>\n
