Residents of Gar\u00f0ab\u00e6r, Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, Mosfellsb\u00e6r and Seltjarnarnes are therefore asked not to put plastic in bags with their general rubbish as usual during this time, but to take it to nearby bins or recycling centres.<\/header>\n<header><\/header>\n<header>Work to be carried out includes sealing between conveyor belts, floating the floors to prevent the collection of water and waste in puddles, upgrades to the conveyor belts and the control system software, and more. While this work is being carried out, waste is not being accepted from the refuse collection at the processing line, and all waste is therefore being bagged and sent to \u00c1lfsnes for landfill during this period.
