There are three swimming pools, and each has its own distinct character and charm. Children born in 2005 and later are not included in the guest count.\u00a0This means that the maximum number in each pool is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00c1svallalaug \u2013 160 guests<\/li>\n<li>South Bay Pool \u2013 80 guests<\/li>\n<li>Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Swimming Pool \u2013 32 guests&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>How many people are swimming now?&nbsp;<\/h4>\n<p>Right at the start of Covid-19, when it became clear that the pandemic would affect the council's swimming pool services, it was decided to launch an information page on the number of visitors in each pool to minimise, and ideally prevent, any waiting for a place.\u00a0 On each swimming pool's page, you can see real-time information about the number of visitors and how many spaces are available.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/en\/ibuar\/sports-and-outdoor-activities\/swimming-pools\/\">Real-time information on the number of visitors in each pool is available here.<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>We are ALL civil defence<\/h4>\n<p>Visitors are encouraged to observe the 2-metre rule at all times and maintain the highest standards of hygiene, as cooperation in public health is essential for the swimming pools to remain open.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Merry Christmas and a successful swimming year ahead!<br \/>See you at the swimming pool! \ud83d\ude42&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00dea\u00f0 \u00e6ttu allir a\u00f0 komast \u00ed j\u00f3lasundi\u00f0 &#8211; opnunart\u00edmi aukinn yfir j\u00f3lah\u00e1t\u00ed\u00f0ina!
