The deadline is today!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The deadline for nominations for the best decorated Christmas house in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur expires today, but suggestions can be sent to <a href=\"mailto:jolathorp@hafnarfjordur.is\">jolathorp@hafnarfjordur.is<\/a> until and including 15 December.<\/p>\n<p>In November, residents of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and friends of the town were encouraged to put on their big festive glasses and submit suggestions for the houses in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur that stand out for their Christmas decorations this year. The townspeople have certainly taken up the challenge to decorate their homes and brighten the short days, and Christmas is fast approaching.
