The Municipality of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and S\u00f3lt\u00fan Elderly Care Services Ltd. signed
\nToday a contract was signed for the operation of a specialised day care service at S\u00f3lvangur. The contract takes
\nfor the operation of twelve specialised day care places at S\u00f3lvangur and has the aim
\nto ensure older people with dementia receive specific services and support
\nto their carers by operating a specialised day care service. <\/p>\n

\ndevelopment of a comprehensive service centre for older people in the S\u00f3lvang area
\ncontinues. The development has progressed well in recent months and years and now additions are being made.
\nto these twelve specialised spaces. An important addition which is intended to
\nto further integrate professional, comprehensive services for senior citizens in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. The next
\nThe steps are aimed at the renovation and construction of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors in the old S\u00f3lvangur building.

S\u00f3lt\u00fan Elderly Care Services is today the operator of a nursing home.
\nin a new building at S\u00f3lvang and a day care for the elderly on the ground floor of the old building
\nSolvangi. A magnificent new 60-bed care home was officially opened on 17 July 2019.<\/a> and thereby replaced the old S\u00f3lvang. At the same time, a decision was made
\nto increase the number of nursing home places at S\u00f3lvang, in addition to the 60 places that are in
\nthe new building and to begin work on the old one and carry out significant refurbishments
\nSolvangi. <\/p>\n

The agreement was approved by the town council on 9 December.<\/a>  <\/p>\n
