The receipts show the amounts of property tax,<br \/>\nland rental, water, sewerage and refuse collection charges. It also states<br \/>\nProperty valuation and information about the owners and payers of the fees.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Ten payment dates throughout the year \u2013 due 30 days later.<br \/>\nDue date<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>There are ten deadlines for property taxes in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur in 2021.<br \/>\nThe first payment is due on 1 February, and thereafter on the first of each month until the 1st.<br \/>\nNovember. In cases where the total amount of property taxes for the year is kr.<br \/>\nFor 25,000 or less, the full amount is collected on the first payment due date of the year, on the 1st.<br \/>\nFebruary. The due date for property taxes is 30 days after the payment date.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Reduction or abolition of property tax for the elderly and<br \/>\ndisabled pensioner<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>At the beginning of the year, pensioners on old-age and disability pensions have been granted<br \/>\nreduction or abolition of property tax in accordance with rules on the reference amount<br \/>\nincome according to the previous year's tax return, now 2020. Conditions for a reduction or<br \/>\nThe cancellations concern one's own property where the payer has<br \/>\nlegal residence. The property tax discount is recalculated when the 2021 tax return<br \/>\nis confirmed by the Director of Taxation.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>We are an online-only service! Payment-<br \/>\nand property tax bills are now only published electronically and are no longer sent out in paper format.
