The grant is provided to primary school children born between 2005 and 2014 who live in households where the total income of the main breadwinner, an individual, couples or cohabiting partners, were on average lower than 740,000 ISK per month between March and July 2020.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The application deadline for these grants has been extended to 15 April 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/en\/ibuar\/sports-and-outdoor-activities\/leisure-grants\/serstakir-fristundastyrkir\/\">Applications are now open \u2013 see details<\/a><\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/innskraning.island.is\/?id=minarsidur.island.is&amp;path=%3freturnUrl%3d%2fdefault.aspx%3fpageid%3d96a8d787-aff7-11ea-a2cb-005056bc9c1c\">Check your eligibility for a grant&nbsp;<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>The grant is a maximum of 45,000 kr\u00f3nur for each child who participates in organised leisure and\/or sports activities under the guidance of a coach or instructor.
