The deadline for applications is 3 May 2021, and applications must be submitted electronically at  <a href=\"https:\/\/ibuagatt.hafnarfjordur.is\/OnePortal\/NewApplication.aspx?id=216365724050394813262\">Our pages or here&nbsp;<\/a> <\/p>\n<h4 align=\"left\">Action Plan against Noise in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur 2018-2023<\/h4>\n<p>The preparation of an action plan against noise is part of the European Union's Directive on environmental noise (2002\/49\/EC), which was implemented in Iceland by the Regulation on noise mapping and action plans no. 1000\/2005.<\/p>\n<h4>The aim is to reduce noise and its undesirable effects. <\/h4>\n<p>The action plan is based on the results of the 2012 noise mapping, together with noise maps showing sound levels at a height of 2 m above ground level. The change in traffic volume over the last five years is considered insignificant in terms of noise exposure, and therefore a revision of the 2012 noise maps is not required. The plan aims to reduce noise and its adverse effects.<\/p>\n<h4>Approved by the Town Council on 6 March 2019<\/h4>\n<p>The action plan was open for consultation from 20 December 2018 to 20 January 2019.
