The Municipality of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur is placing an ever-increasing and greater emphasis on digital services and communication for the town's residents and other stakeholders. Over the past few months, a great deal of work has been carried out to update, refine, expand and enhance the town's map website, improve its functionality, and bring in data and information that has previously only been available in PDF documents online. There you can access all building control plans, which are scanned and registered as soon as they are approved, making both the working and master drawings available electronically. The map portal is updated daily and always reflects the most up-to-date information.<\/p>\n<p><strong>On the map website, you can access the following, among other things:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drawings of houses and plots in the town<\/li>\n<li>vacant plots (new)<\/li>\n<li>Detailed plan<\/li>\n<li>Neighbourhood boundary<\/li>\n<li>school district<\/li>\n<li>Memorial and protected area<\/li>\n<li>the town's basic services such as the location of schools, institutions, playgrounds, swimming pools and local bins<\/li>\n<li>Layout of the water, heating and drainage supply, including pipe routes<\/li>\n<li>Information about business services and leisure activities<\/li>\n<li>earthquake activity<\/li>\n<li>Webcams<\/li>\n<li>transport information, road traffic accidents and traffic on footpaths and cycle paths<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If maps cannot be found online, you can contact the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur customer service on the phone. <a class=\"tel\" href=\"tel:\">585-5500 <\/a> or send an email to <a class=\"netfang\" href=\"mailto:hafnarfjordur@hafnarfjordur.is\">hafnarfjordur@hafnarfjordur.is<\/a> for more information.
