Registration is open from 28 April 2021.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h4>Registration for the following is now open:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Summer activities for 7-9 year olds at all primary schools<\/li>\n<li>SumarKletturinn for children aged 9\u201313 with specific support needs<\/li>\n<li>A pastime for 10-13 year olds<\/li>\n<li>Fun and creative summer courses at Hafnarborg for 6-12 year olds<\/li>\n<li>Summer activities for 6-year-olds (nursery school leavers)<\/li>\n<li>Community gardens for growing vegetables for the whole family at \u00d6ldut\u00fan and V\u00ed\u00f0ista\u00f0ir<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p xml_lang=\"EN-US\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sumar.vala.is\/#\/workshops\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Registration takes place here<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Summer activities for 7-9 year olds<\/h4>\n<p>Summer courses are run in all of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's leisure centres. Summer activities include a varied programme consisting of creative projects, games, physical activities, exciting trips, swimming sessions and group events. The programme may vary depending on the activity centre chosen. Courses are available in all leisure centres from 14 June to 2 July. A centralised course is offered at the Krakkaberg leisure centre from 5 July, and courses resume in all schools from 4 August until 23 August.<\/p>\n<h4>Summer activities for 6-year-olds (nursery school leavers)<\/h4>\n<p>From 4th to 23rd August, a varied and constructive summer activity programme is offered at all leisure centres in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur for children in the final year of nursery school, 6-year-olds born in 2014. The programmes are similar to our regular summer courses, but with a strong emphasis on outdoor activities, physical exercise, and healthy eating. A special focus is placed on playing a variety of games.
