The Bright Days, a cultural festival, are coming up.
\nreflects all the diverse cultural activity that takes place in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur.
\nIn a normal year, this country's first town festival lasts for five days, but
\nIt has been decided that the festival, which begins on the last day of winter with the selection of
\nArtist in Residence of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, the awarding of cultural grants and summer singing
\nof students, run throughout the summer and be the centrepiece of a variety of festivities.
\nThus, funding for pilot projects has been increased and all interested parties
\nEncouraged to apply for micro-grants for events and entertainment during the Days of Light
\nSummer 2021.<\/p>\n
The festival's opening programme this year is rather modest and with another
\nadapted in light of the gathering restrictions, but everyone should still find something to their liking.

\na special emphasis is placed on youth culture in order to encourage young people to
\nactive participation in cultural activities, harness their creativity and provide them with

\nprotective measures and use face masks where appropriate. It can be assumed that regular items
\nat the town festival will take place later this summer when the environment and conditions
