For Section A, the result was a positive 1.6 billion kr\u00f3na.<br \/>\nGood progress was made in protecting the core operations of the municipal fund last year, despite<br \/>\ndue to negative effects from the Covid-19 pandemic. Sales of approximately 15% are added.<br \/>\nHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's stake in HS Veitur hf. and the sale of plots of land, which had a significant positive impact.<br \/>\non the year's operating result. A neighbourhood of nearly 1,800 homes will be built there in the coming months and years.<br \/>\nThe estimated population is just over 4,000. Combined, the estimated population of new<br \/>\nthe population in Skar\u00f0shl\u00ed\u00f0 and Hamranes will be around 5,300 in approximately 2,300 households. In<br \/>\nVallahverfi, which is the closest neighbourhood to these areas, has just over 5,700 residents and is<br \/>\nit is assumed that the total number in this area south of Reykjanesbraut will peak at<br \/>\nHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur will nearly double in the coming years.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201eHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur has met the negative effects of Covid-19<br \/>\nthe pandemic by strengthening the municipality's economic foundations.
