These are summer jobs related to <a href=\"\/en\/province\/news\/parish-for-students-summer-work-and-summer-jobs-2021\/\">government measures<\/a> and aims to promote the effectiveness and future growth of Icelandic business. The City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur is actively participating in the project and will hire at least 80 employees through this initiative, in addition to the hires made through the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Summer Job Scheme. The application deadline is 16th May.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h4>Innovation Lab at the Learning Centre by the Stream&nbsp;<\/h4>\n<p>The group will be based in their workplace or in the innovation studio at the Learning Centre by the Stream, where they will undertake a variety of enjoyable summer jobs, e.g. in the fields of environment and infrastructure, information technology, education, family affairs, cultural affairs and health promotion. Applicants submit an open application for a summer position, after which they are matched with a role deemed suitable for their experience, education and skills.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/radningar.hafnarfjordur.is\/rcf3\/viewjobonweb.aspx?jobid=VH21020\">Applications are now open on the council's recruitment website.<\/a><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Some examples of jobs available for students for summer 2021&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Communication and digital development in the library<br \/>\n<\/strong>The role involves designing and creating content.,<br \/>\npresentation of digital content and processing of content in digital and graphical form. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Real estate \u2013<br \/>\nUpdate to data and drawings<br \/><\/strong>Measure and draw up the town hall. Draw minor details.<br \/>\nChanges to the town's premises. Work on data collection regarding accessibility for all in the premises.<br \/>\nof the town and open spaces.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Walking routes in<br \/>\nHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur \u2013 an assessment<br \/><\/strong>The project is to carry out an assessment of the town's walking routes and paths.<br \/>\nAssess their condition, connections between areas, their widths with that in mind<br \/>\nAssess renewal needs and prioritise.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Risk assessment<br \/>\nEducational software in nurseries and primary schools<br \/><\/strong>The task is to risk assess teaching software (teaching applications,<br \/>\nweb services, etc.) for the purpose of assessing the risks of their use in games-<br \/>\nand in primary school work in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, not least through the use of tablets (iPad).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Registration of war memorials<br \/>\nin Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur<br \/><\/strong>The Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Folk Museum is responsible for the registration of archaeological sites in<br \/>\nthe town's open space, but the idea behind this project is also to compile a register of<br \/>\nWar memorials in the town's grounds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Digital projects<br \/>\nof the Folk Museum<br \/><\/strong>This is a project that is twofold, one part being to see<br \/>\non promoting the collection on social media and, on the other hand, to prepare a heritage walk in<br \/>\nA walkway connecting the museum building and the memorial plaque.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Staff member at L\u00e6k<br \/><\/strong>The aim of L\u00e6k is to reduce social isolation and increase<br \/>\nthe quality of life of those who struggle with mental health issues. The main tasks are to<br \/>\nEngage visitors on their own terms and carry out a variety of activities with them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Information centre<br \/>\ntourists \u2013 on wheels<br \/><\/strong>A staff member is sought for the information centre to<br \/>\ndrive tuk-tuk electric bikes and provide information to tourists around the town,<br \/>\nto communicate and cooperate with tourism providers<\/p>\n<p><strong>Photography and<br \/>\nCreative use of social media<br \/><\/strong>Seeking a staff member for the Service and Development Department to<br \/>\ntaking pictures and creating diverse visual content for the town that speaks in rhythm<br \/>\nin line with the municipality's new design standard. An employee will also take part in sharing content on the municipality's channels this summer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Increased opportunity<br \/>\nfor people with disabilities to participate in a wide range of leisure activities<br \/><\/strong>A role involving increasing participation for disabled people<br \/>\nindividuals in increased leisure activities who are in the Wasps.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The health town \u2013<br \/>\nVisibility and marketing<br \/><\/strong>Working with analysis and mapping that has been carried out<br \/>\nfor the health town of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and contains ideas for all sorts of projects;<br \/>\nlarge and small in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur that need to be costed and carried out.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Registration and classification<br \/>\nPhotograph in a photo library<br \/><\/strong>Restructuring and categorising a large image collection for a new<br \/>\nto build the council's image bank, whilst also calling for images from the council's schools and institutions for the purpose of cultural and historical preservation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Art rock<br \/>\n<\/strong>To provide support and assistance to<br \/>\nto serve users in the workshop and the Rock, and to contribute to and encourage further creativity. When the period ends, an exhibition will be held of the summer's work.<br \/>\nThe emphasis will be on environmental protection, recycling and giving old things a new lease of life.<br \/>\nlife.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Circus House<br \/><\/strong>Organise and prepare festivals or pop-up events for<br \/>\nresidents of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Classification and registration<br \/>\ndata<br \/><\/strong>The work consists of analysis, classification, preparation and registration.<br \/>\nData from the Department of Environment and Planning.<br \/>We work with the OneCrm case and document management system and Excel.<br \/>\nregistration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bridge between Libraries<br \/>\nHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and Leisure<br \/><\/strong>The role is a bridge between leisure and the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Library.<br \/>\nand the aim is to support children's reading over the summer. The roles are to<br \/>\nhelping kids with reading, etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Help with<br \/>\nPreparations for the review of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur's literacy policy<br \/><\/strong>Gather information from the town's nursery and primary schools regarding<br \/>\nrevision of the literacy policy of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. The work is suitable for students in<br \/>\nteacher education, e.g. for nursery or primary school teachers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Equal opportunities to<br \/>\nthe practice of sport<br \/><\/strong>Increased support for children with general diagnoses<br \/>\nSports courses over the summer.<\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Assistant in<br \/>\nChild protection<br \/><\/strong>The project involves assisting staff in child protection.,<br \/>\ne.g. by assessing foster families and requests from<br \/>\nChild Protection Agency, conduct light investigations in child protection, handle case closures and prepare<br \/>\nCase for a child protection conference.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Course in<br \/>\nSmart device use<br \/><\/strong>A job involving teaching courses for older people.<br \/>\ncitizens regarding the use of smart devices. An employee must have knowledge of the main<br \/>\nsmart devices that are in use in society. An employee must be able to share<br \/>\ntechnology in a simple and secure way.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Exercise at home<br \/><\/strong>Many frail elderly people rarely leave their homes.<br \/>\nat home, are both socially isolated and have little physical activity. It is assumed<br \/>\nfor the staff member offering, amongst other things, chair-based exercises and walks at home for all interested.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Come on in<br \/>\nThe social work<br \/><\/strong>A job that involves engaging and contacting older people.<br \/>\nencourage citizens to participate in the social activities for older people at Hraunsel<br \/>\nwhere various activities take place.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Do you want to take part in ambitious and challenging projects?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur is seeking applications from students who are ready to take part in ambitious and challenging projects this summer. Applicants must be 18 years of age in 2021 (born 2003) or older, and have been in education during the spring term of 2021 or be enrolled in a course for the autumn term of 2021. The application must be accompanied by proof of enrolment from the applicant's educational institution and a detailed CV. The appointment is for a two-month period between 1 June and 31 August.
