The initiative for the section's creation comes from a working group that was recently established with the task of defining a comprehensive accessibility policy for Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur.<\/p>\n<h4>Formulation of a comprehensive accessibility policy<\/h4>\n<p>Accessibility issues concern all areas of society and cover a broad spectrum, from access to buildings and public spaces to access to information and services from the local council. Ideas and case studies received on Betri Hafnarfir\u00f0i will be used by the group to shape the strategy and propose an implementation plan. The working group is composed of representatives from staff and elected officials, as well as Egill Fjeldsted from the Advisory Council.
