As gathering restrictions are still in place, the celebrations at Flensborg Harbour on Seafarers' Day, 6th June, will once again be held in an unconventional manner. Despite this, we encourage residents of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and their guests to make their way down to the harbour and enjoy what the harbour, for which the town is named, has to offer.<\/p>\n
The Fisheries Research Institute's fish exhibition will be held in the area in front of the institute's headquarters on H\u00e1abakki. Visitors will be able to see specimens of fish and invertebrates, from common commercial fish such as cod and haddock to rarer species like moonfish and stingrays.<\/p>\n
The Thytur Sailing Club is holding an open day with kayaking and rowing. In the cosy shops and art galleries by the harbour, you can find the designs and craftsmanship of local artists.
