This year, 40 received<br \/>\nstaff recognition for this number of years in a role equivalent to 1000 years of collaboration and work experience across a variety of jobs at the workplace<br \/>\nof the town. A large part of the group has worked for several years, and some for decades.<br \/>\nto the town. The reason for this large number this year is that this year also marks the 25th<br \/>\nIt has been ten years since the local authorities took over the running of nursery and primary schools.<br \/>\nThe presentation of awards took place at a ceremony in Hafnarborg yesterday.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Harvest festival every spring<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Spring is a time of harvest, graduations, awards and personal victories. For six years, the Municipality of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur has called for<br \/>\na spring awards ceremony to celebrate and especially to thank<br \/>\nstaff who have reached the milestone of having worked for the council for around 25 years<br \/>\nand thereby devoted a large part of their working life, interest and professional career to<br \/>\nof the town. This year, awards were given to 40 employees who<br \/>\ncollectively have worked for the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur for over 1000 years. At the ceremony, took<br \/>\nMayor R\u00f3sa Gu\u00f0bjartsd\u00f3ttir spoke and spoke particularly about the importance<br \/>\nthe human resources department and the people who make up the workplace of the City of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur.
