{"id":14708,"date":"2021-06-11T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-06-11T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/vinnuskoli-hafnarfjardar-er-kominn-a-fullt\/"},"modified":"2022-09-26T15:17:28","modified_gmt":"2022-09-26T15:17:28","slug":"the-hafnarfjordur-work-school-is-in-full-swing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/en\/vinnuskoli-hafnarfjardar-er-kominn-a-fullt\/","title":{"rendered":"The Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Work Camp is in full swing."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Monday, 14 June, general groups will begin  <a href=\"\/en\/ibuar\/atvinna\/the-working-school\/hafnarfjordur-vocational-school\/hafnarfjordur-vocational-school\/\" class=\"internal\">Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Summer School <\/a> The work camp leaders started work at the beginning of June and have since been preparing for the arrival of hundreds of 14-17-year-olds next week.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>Summer is the time<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n<p>Over the past few weeks, the group leaders have attended, among other things, a first aid course, listened to lectures from Landvernd and the Health and Safety Authority, and also had a conversation with Geir Bjarnason, the Sports and Leisure Officer for Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, and 'Biggi the Policeman' about prevention. In between courses, the group leaders have been working to make our town nice and beautiful and, from next week, will be joined by hundreds of young people.
