You will be able to play badminton and table tennis both indoors and outdoors, take part in a fun obstacle course, join a drawing competition, do some colouring, jump on the trampoline and take photos in the photo booth. There will also be steaming hot waffles, freshly baked chocolate cakes and coffee available at the BH caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h4>Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Library<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bokasafnhafnarfjardar.is\/\">Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Library<\/a> will be in a festive mood and will celebrate the day with a variety of entertainment from 12 o'clock.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coffee and doughnuts for the occasion.<\/li>\n<li>The Skating of the Valkyrie at 12:45. Hildur Rosenkj\u00e6r from Annr\u00edki, the National Costume Institute, skates as the Valkyrie of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and discusses the history and meaning of the headdresses of women's festive costumes.<\/li>\n<li>Accordion ball on the Town Hall Square at 1 p.m. Toys and crayons for the children, and bouncy castles for the little ones.<\/li>\n<li>Outdoor concert at 3 p.m. The band Fjara and musician Birgir Hansen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>&nbsp;<\/h4>\n<h4>Port city, cultural and artistic centre<\/h4>\n<p>Open at <a href=\"https:\/\/hafnarborg.is\/\">Port city<\/a> 12 \u2013 17.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pianist Benjam\u00edn G\u00edsli Einarsson performs Icelandic folk songs in Benjam\u00edn's arrangements in the Main Hall of Hafnarborg at 2 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Curator's tour of the exhibition&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/hafnarborg.is\/exhibition\/hrynjandi\/\">Rhythm<\/a> with works by Gu\u00f0mundur Andr\u00e9sson in the main hall at 3 p.m. and the exhibition <a href=\"https:\/\/hafnarborg.is\/exhibition\/diskotek\/\">Discotheque <\/a> with works by Arnfinn Amazeen in Sverris Hall.<\/li>\n<li>A concert with Fri\u00f0rik D\u00f3r and Viktoria Tomasdottir, winners of the Samf\u00e9s singing competition, at Hafnarborg\/Krydd at 4 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Museum of Local History<\/h4>\n<p>Open in all houses <a href=\"https:\/\/byggdasafnid.is\/\">of the Folk Museum <\/a> 11 am \u2013 5 pm.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Packhouse, a new themed exhibition about the corner shop, an exhibition on the history of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and a toy exhibition.<\/li>\n<li>Beggub\u00fa\u00f0, a retail heritage exhibition in the spirit of the national festival.<\/li>\n<li>The S\u00edvertsen House, the story of Bjarne S\u00edvertsen and the home of an upper-class family from the early 19th century.<\/li>\n<li>A well-preserved, newly restored and renovated example of a working-class family home from the early 20th century.<\/li>\n<li>The Good Templar Hall, an exhibition in the country's oldest meeting hall about the history of the Good Templars in the town and the cultural life in the building.<\/li>\n<li>Bookless Bungalow, an exhibition about the Bookless brothers and their publishing here in town.<\/li>\n<li>The Coastal Path, a new exhibition about the history of the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Municipal Fisheries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Long-eared Owl<\/h4>\n<p>The Urturnar Sea Swimming Club will be guiding locals in sea swimming from 10 am to 3 pm.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The steamship is open from 10 am to 3 pm.<\/li>\n<li>Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Swimming Pool open from 10 am to 5 pm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>East Road<\/h4>\n<p>The residents of East Street welcome residents of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and the surrounding area, and as in previous years, there will be plenty of fun and exciting things on offer.<\/p>\n<h4>Streets and squares<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Bouncy castles open at 13:00 across the festival site and will be open until 17:00.<\/li>\n<li>Unexpected happenings of the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Summer School Art Group.<\/li>\n<li>Unexpected Events of Creative Summer Jobs in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur.<\/li>\n<li>A group from the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Work School will decorate the festival area with environmentally friendly balloons.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sailing.is\/\">The Sailing Club \u00deytur<\/a> Offers visitors and passers-by the chance to try kayaks and rowing boats at Flensburg Harbour.<\/li>\n<li>Arctic Surfers are inviting guests to try SUP at the Learning Centre by the Stream.<\/li>\n<li>Children will be given rides on horses from the S\u00f6rli Riding Club at the end of Austurgata.<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The gymnastics club Bj\u00f6rk will be holding a barbecue and gymnastics fun with fire engines in the car park at the Venusarh\u00fas on Strandgata 11.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pfh.is\/\">Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Darts Club<\/a> Offers passers-by the chance to try darts between 13:00 and 18:00 at the back of Reykjavikurvegur 64.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Blue Light Driving of the Capital Region Fire and Rescue Service<\/h4>\n<p>To mark the occasion, the Capital Region Fire and Rescue Service will be driving through several streets in the municipality with blue lights and the Icelandic flag between 11 am and 2 pm. Unfortunately, it is not possible to schedule this precisely, as the fire service is on duty as usual. Let's give them a warm welcome; it's a great opportunity to go out and celebrate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The programme is subject to change without notice, and events may be added or postponed.
