The residential unit will be<br \/>\nLocated at H\u00f3lalandi on Kjalarnes. An environment and conditions will be created where the individual can work on their own terms, with a focus on strengths, possibilities, interests and the future.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>A new resource is an important addition&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h4>\n<p>The aim is to build a home for seven people.<br \/>\nwho have multiple difficulties, often with learning disabilities, behavioural and<br \/>\ndrug addiction, autism and related disorders that have difficulty with<br \/>\nto find their feet in society. There is a great need for residential solutions for this group and<br \/>\nThere are waiting lists in local authorities for housing for people who have a need for<br \/>\nspecialised support. This is therefore an important addition to the resources that<br \/>\nare now available. The municipalities of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, Mosfellsb\u00e6r and the City of Reykjav\u00edk have each entered into an agreement with the non-profit organisation EMBLU regarding prospective residency.
