The final day of the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Book and Film Festival is Wednesday, 13 October. <\/strong><\/h4>\n

To round off a fantastic and successful Book and Film Festival in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur 2021, a call is issued.
\nto a different and content-rich cinema experience at B\u00e6jarb\u00ed\u00f3 on the final day of the festival. Three events are on offer, all of which are free and open to everyone, subject to availability. The highly entertaining Icelandic Superhero film The Black Ice Storm<\/a> A Fenrir Films production will be shown at 5 pm and with
\nThe production manager of Fenrir Films, Arnar Benjam\u00edn, will be at the exhibition.
\nfor answers. At 18:00, a lecture will be given in English on Stunt work with Rob Tasker<\/a> , Head of Image Transformation at the Icelandic Film School. Rob will
\nto give an insight into how varied and intricate the special effects work of modern cinema can be

Candies, colourful characters and creative summer jobs  <\/h4>\n

The Caramel Picture and the Film Astr\u00f3p\u00eda<\/a> by the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur-based director Gunnar B. Gu\u00f0mundsson will be shown at 8 p.m. Astr\u00f3p\u00eda is an Icelandic film from 2007 which was largely filmed in
\nHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. After Hildur's boyfriend is put in prison, she is forced to get
\ngets a job at the \u201enerd shop\u201c Astr\u00f3p\u00eda where she meets many colourful
\ncharacters who introduce her to the world of role-playing. The cartoon tells the story of
\na police officer and his assistant who are trying to solve a series of mysterious crimes,
\nwhich seem to be indirectly connected. Then the short film \u201eI'm just a
\n\u201ca lie, isn't it?\u201e and the short films \u201cHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur in a Nutshell\" were also shown but
\nThe projects were carried out as part of creative summer jobs at the youth centre Hamrinn over the summer.

Film director shares experience and knowledge with Year 8 pupils<\/h4>\n

On the occasion of the Book and Film Festival, Gunnar Bj\u00f6rn Gu\u00f0mundsson
\nFilm directors visit Year 8 pupils in all primary schools
\nHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and a talk with students, discussing filmmaking and the working process in
\nfilm-making. He will talk about his work and teach the children how
\nA film is made, from the first draft to the finished work. Gunnar Bj\u00f6rn
\nhas worked in theatre, television and film for over two decades and among
\notherwise the directed New Year's Eve sketch show, television programmes about \u00c6var the Scientist and
\nthe films Astr\u00f3p\u00eda, Gauragangi and most recently \u00d6mmu H\u00f3fi, which was just premiered in
\nTown cinema. <\/p>\n
