Preparations for the Christmas town have begun and the ice rink has been set up.

Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur welcomes winter with preparations for Christmas. It is aiming
\nall the best for the Advent season to be not only bright and beautiful but also extremely lively and
\nvibrant and probably free from constraints. The Christmas town of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur made its mark
\nfirmly into the minds and hearts of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur residents and friends of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur throughout the country about
\nlast Christmas with the united and good efforts of all; residents, businesses and institutions in
\nall the town's neighbourhoods. Thousands visited the town during Advent and experienced
\nin the Christmas town, which has seldom been more Christmassy, enjoyed good food and drink and used
\nthe opportunity to buy gifts and all sorts of goodies. <\/p>\n

Christmas village, fairyland and ice rink<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Christmas is steadily making its way across Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and into
\nLast week, the town's staff began putting up the Christmas decorations.
\nin the centre of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, and new lights and decorations will be added steadily over the coming days and weeks. A search is under way, among other things, for a fir tree.<\/a> from the gardens of residents who have finished theirs
\na role in the home garden but could serve as a source of joy during Advent on an open
\nareas. The Christmas edition of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur will be published this week for the first
\nthe Advent weekend and will, like the last two years, be full of warm material about
\ngenerous and good projects in the town, progressive Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur businesses and the people who

\nenergy used to cool the ice rink. Ideas about such an ice rink in
\nHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur has been in the discussion for some time, and there is a desire to let
\nThis fun idea will become a reality this year. Is the implementation intended to do that?

\nHafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Municipality encourages residents to put up their Christmas lights early this year.
\nThe council's staff are steadily working their way through the town, putting up
\nLight in well-trodden places and open areas. All this is done with that in mind.
\nto delight the eye and the soul and to promote their positive experience and enjoyment
\nwho are on their way through the town, whether walking, running, cycling or driving. <\/p>\n
