To support artists and culture from Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, a portion of the funding for the Christmas Village in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur will be allocated to various projects taking place during Advent 2021. Applications are invited for any type of performance, experience or entertainment that can enrich the festive atmosphere in the Christmas town during Advent. It is important that the projects appeal to a broad audience and are enjoyed by many.<\/p>\n<h4>The application deadline is 15 November 2021.<\/h4>\n<p>Written applications for micro-grants should be sent to the email address&nbsp;<strong><a class=\"netfang\" href=\"mailto:jolathorp@hafnarfjordur.is\">jolathorp@hafnarfjordur.is<\/a> <\/strong>under the headline: <strong><em>Application for a micro-grant<\/em><\/strong> by 23:59 on Monday, 15 November. The allocation is expected to be completed by 26 November.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The application must state:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/em>Applicant's name, National Insurance number, email address, telephone number, details of the project for which a grant is being sought and a simple cost estimate. It is best to combine the application with all documents into a single PDF file.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>The Christmas Town of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The Christmas Village is a local event that encapsulates the Christmas spirit in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, and a visit to the Christmas Village, along with its museums, shops, caf\u00e9s and restaurants, is an important and essential part of many people's Christmas preparations.
