This is a grant from the Ministry of Social Affairs due to COVID-19, which is administered and paid out by the local authorities. The aim of the grant is to equalise opportunities for children to participate in organised sports and leisure activities.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"center lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/hafnarfjordur.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/serstakurstyrkurhaust2021.jpg\" alt=\"Special Offer Autumn 2021\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 522px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 522\/517;\"><\/p>\n<h4>Applications must be received no later than 31 December 2021.<\/h4>\n<p>If a parent\/guardian believes their child is entitled to a supplementary grant for sports and leisure activities in the autumn term 2021 and has not already claimed the grant via Sportabler, they can apply for the grant at <a href=\"https:\/\/ibuagatt.hafnarfjordur.is\/OnePortal\/NewApplication.aspx?id=6XU3_50dvUKhQphCxdG4Ag1\">Our pages<\/a> no later than 31 December 2021.<\/p>\n<h4>The application must be accompanied by a receipt from the sports and leisure association and a statement of direct debits.<\/h4>\n<p>By applying through <a href=\"https:\/\/ibuagatt.hafnarfjordur.is\/OnePortal\/NewApplication.aspx?id=6XU3_50dvUKhQphCxdG4Ag1\">My pages<\/a> must be accompanied by a receipt from the sports and leisure club. The receipt must state the child's name and national insurance number, and the period the course runs for. Also, a 2021 PAYE statement for the individual, married couple or cohabiting partners must be provided.
